Charity Groups / Community Services / Bundaberg Regional Council

Approved charity organisations raising funds for recognised charities or Community Service organisations providing essential services to public or the Bundaberg Regional Council are exempt from hire charges or bonds but not from damage, repairs or cleaning charges

 

 

The Woodgate Community Hall is situated in the centre of Woodgate Beach just off the Esplanade and is located adjacent to the Woodgate Bowls Club in the Recreation Reserve.

The Hall is available for hire to Locals and Visitors. It contains a large auditorium suitable for dances or meetings together with a stage area. Tables and Chairs are available for use. A large kitchen area is available for serving of meals with an internal or external serving areas.

A bar area with cold storage refrigeration is also available for hire.

Please note there are special conditions for 18th or 21st parties.

Payment:

Please ensure full payment for the hall bookings is made at least 14 days prior to the event.
Payment may be made in cash or cheque (Payable to Woodgate and District Residents Association Inc)

Hall Insepection and Key Collection

Please arrang a time at which you are able to inspect the Hall prior to the event and arrange collection of the keys. All keys must be signed for. 

Event Setup:

If required, setup prior to the event may be arranged. Note charges may apply.

 

Exit Charges.

After the event and prior to key return an inspection will be made by the Managing Authority to ascertain the need for any additional cleaning or repairs, costs of which will be deducted from the bond. The bond will only be returned in full upon a satisfactory exit inspection. Bonds will be returned by cheque to the address given above.

 

Security

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hall is left secure during / after an event. All windows and doors must be locked and lights and fans turned off. If the kitchen has been used then all urns must also be emptied and turned off, any crockery or cutlery washed and dried.

Liquor Licence

The booking fees do not include a liquor licence. If sale of liquor will be offered at the event the appropriate licences must be obtained from OLGR and Council.

When vacating the hall please respect the peace and quiet of the surrounding neighbours.
