The Woodgate and District Residents Association has received a Grant of $6500 to assist in creating a design for a Commerical Style Kitchen at the Woodgate Community Hall.

The need for an improvement in the kitchen area was identified at a hall users meeting in May 2011. The Association was successful in receiving the grant from Queensland Governments Building Rural Communities Fund.

An initial design has now been produced by our designer and is available for download here. Please look at this in conjuction with the bill of quantities.

The Association will be holding another hall users meeting in May 2012 to get feedback on this design before it is finalised an lodged with the local council for building approval.

Once the design is complete expressions of interest will be sought from local builders to oversee the modifications to the kitchen.
